A Glimpse Into My Personal Transformation & The Kingdom Fit Movement

From atheist, overweight corporate woman to Jesus-loving, fiercely fit entrepreneur.

The photo on the left shows where I started 23 years ago. In my 20s, I gained 65 pounds on my 5'1" frame during pregnancy. Losing the weight didn’t happen right away because I had developed an unhealthy relationship with food.

My son was a year old when I accepted Jesus into my life, and a year later, I had my “I’m DONE” moment. As a busy single mom struggling with emotional eating and PCOS, I knew something had to change.

Money was tight after my separation, and I took a local job to be closer to home. But I was done feeling defeated, battling food, and not showing up powerfully for my son. I was a good mom, but I knew I could be even better—if I felt better.

The first picture you see is AFTER I lost 30 pounds—because I wouldn’t allow myself to be in photos before that. (Can you relate to hiding from being IN the picture and dreading the rare occasions when someone convinces you?)

At first, I was self-taught and desperate to escape the yo-yo dieting cycle. I hated losing weight only to gain it back. I realized the diets were amplifying my poor relationship with food, so I began searching for something sustainable. Nutrition and workouts became my side fixation.

As my self-esteem and confidence grew, I pursued professional designations and rebuilt my corporate career in the financial industry (APA, Retirement Services). I ended up with a body I never expected, but more importantly, I transformed my legacy for myself and my son.

God had a plan. He began calling me out of the executive suite and away from a comfortable paycheck, whispering, "Go equip and empower women to create their own transformations."

It didn’t make logical sense, and I was scared. But I followed His lead. I started over as a single mom, launching a bootcamp in the park, which grew into a brick-and-mortar fitness business.

With the help of an incredible team, we helped thousands of people transform their lives over 10 years.

Then God called me again to focus fully online, specifically working with Christian women, where I could root my programs boldly in His word.

I kept the weight off for nearly two decades—until perimenopause hit.

The picture on the right shows me in my late 40s to now (51!). Despite doing all the "right things," I gained 16 pounds between ages 40-43, due to high stress and the onset of perimenopause.

Thankfully, I learned the self-care tweaks that finally shed that stubborn fat, and now I get to teach those forward too!

To be clear, I’m not just an IG influencer who lost weight and now shares what worked for me.

I’m not someone who used a product system and now calls myself a health coach. (No offense—my experience and depth run much deeper.)

I have lived and breathed nutrition and training for over 23 years. In the last 14 years as a fitness and health entrepreneur, I’ve continually invested in my education, earning multiple certifications in nutrition and training.

I’ve invested over $150K in my personal development through books, courses, mentorships, and working with the best in fitness, health, human behavior, neuroscience, emotional intelligence—and above all, God’s word.

I feel honored that God has called me to share the Kingdom Fit Message and create The Kingdom Fit Method. My mission is to equip and empower Christian women to normalize prioritizing their own self-care so that they Become HER—their unique Kingdom Fit Identity, the greatest expression of their God-given potential in mind, body, and spirit.
